Foreman II – Commercial Plumbing
Pueblo

$33.00/hr – $40.00/hr.

Responsibilities- Provide daily guidance, training, and direction to the plumbing crew.
- Oversee and direct assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing systems according to project specifications and building codes.
- Develop solutions to ensure issues do not become major problems.
- Review projects with Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subcontractors are procured.
- Conduct physical surveys of project sites with Superintendent to ascertain conditions and report back to Project Manager if required.
- Prepare takeoffs for projects in a timely and thorough manner with the Superintendent.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise on‑site functions including scheduling, material control, and rentals.
- Provide daily job completion percentages.
- Ensure all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies, and other applicable regulations.
- Document incidents as they occur and notify Project Manager and Superintendent; recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Verify that all jobs have weekly reports submitted, including safety/toolbox reports, pre‑construction, weekly production report, and any project‑specific reports.
- Conduct inspections on jobs, ensuring jobs are detailed to Pueblo Mechanical standards and coordinated with contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and owners as necessary.
- Coordinate with shop for production scheduling and deliveries.
- 4+ years experience; journeyman or licenseable.
- 2+ years of experience running work.
- Ability to complete an 8‑week look‑ahead for his or her project.
- Ability to manage a crew of 1 to 10 installers.
- Ability to read blueprints and prepare material lists.
- Work to increase team efficiency and uphold high safety standards at all times.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self‑motivated, punctual, and professional in appearance and speech.
- Must be able to multi‑task and follow up thoroughly both internally and externally.
- Experience with government facilities is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequent bending, lifting, standing, walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.
