Construction Project Manager - Business Development

Responsibilities

* Put together project estimates, budgets, and project schedules

* Upfront client communication on potential projects

* Manage all aspects of putting together a SOQ for a potential project

* Manage workload and tasks in a deadline driven environment

* Go to pre-construction meetings,, take notes, and ask questions that can be used to develop proposals

* Remain part of a project during a "hand off" period to an Operations Project Manager, once we get the work

* Call and solicit proposals from sub-contractors

* Help build out and streamline our sales processes

* Research and maintain knowledge of building application methods and materials

* Manage subcontractor selection

* Prepare and reviews construction proposals

* Create construction budgets and schedules

* Assist in developing and reviewing contract documents

* Participate in project meetings

* Understand client needs and requirements

* Contribute to the Request for Information (RFI) process

Requirements

* High School Diploma

* At least 5-10 years of relevant experience with managing construction projects from kick off through completion

* Proficiency with applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) and other industry specific software

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

* Must be a team player with strong organizational skills

* Willingness to travel within the continental US, including overnight trips
