Senior Estimator

This is a full-time on-site role located in Fort Worth, TX for a Senior Estimator. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for civil construction projects, analyzing costs, and collaborating with project teams. Key tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, conducting material take-offs, reaching out to vendors and suppliers for pricing, and reviewing bids for accuracy. Collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met is a crucial part of the role.

• Proficiency in cost estimation, material take-offs, and bid preparation
• Strong skills in blueprint reading, understanding project specifications, and scope of work analysis
• Experience in vendor and subcontractor coordination, including request for quotes (RFQs) and pricing evaluation
• Familiarity with construction software tools, spreadsheets, and project management tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and multitask competing priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Extensive experience in estimating for underground utility and site work projects
• Prior experience in the Fort Worth, TX market or regional construction industry is a plus
