Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project on a greenfield site. As Structural / Building QA Inspector you inspect structural steel and building work for the owner, from bolt-up through to weather-tight.
What you bring to the role:Inspect structural steel installation, bolting and connections.
Witness structural welding and review examination records.
Inspect building envelope, roofing and finishes.
Verify grouting and baseplate work.
Attend client hold points and record findings.
Raise and drive closure of nonconformances.
7+ years inspecting structural and building work on industrial projects.
Working knowledge of AISC and AWS D1.1.
Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
Technical qualification, or equivalent years of field experience.
CWI certification.
Owner-side inspection experience.
OSHA 30 — provided by the project after mobilization if you do not already hold it.
