Rug Associate Product Development Designer
Join Pivotal Talent Search as a Rug Associate Product Development Designer. We’ve dedicated over four decades to producing unique luxury home furnishings. This role is integral to our Rug Development Design team.
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Creating rug weaving specifications and designs in response to given briefs and amending designs where necessary.
- Quality control: analyze rug production and samples for rug weave specification accuracy.
- Prepare yarn cards and rug poms for client presentations.
- Maintain and organize development samples, color tools, and studio working spaces.
- Prepare warps and wefts, dress loom.
- Weave rug samples.
- 3+ years textile design / weaving experience.
- Graphic art / print experience.
- Knowledge of fabric / weave structures.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and punctual.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and teamwork.
- Knowledge of computer‑aided design programs (e.g., Ned Graphics/Texcel, Adobe Suite).
