Project Coordinator (PC) plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of architectural projects. This position involves the preparation and assists with organization of project documentation, coordination with clients and consultants, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet Rogue Architects' standards and quality expectations. The ideal team member will continuously seek to improve processes and outcomes.

  • Project Documentation
    :
    • Engages actively in the preparation and assists with organization of project documentation, which includes, but is not limited to, conducting and documenting building surveys, designing, creating construction documents.
    • Modifies or creates documents and drawings with some guidance applying architectural techniques and utilizing independent judgement.
  • Client and Consultant Interaction
    :
    • Participates in client and consultant meetings as necessary or directed by supervisor.
    • Maintains daily communication and supervised coordination with consultants throughout all project stages.
  • Project Execution
    :
    • Executes deliverables within assigned timeframe according to scope of services, best practices, Rogue standards, and quality expectations.
    • Assists team members in the administration of construction documents to the level that is requested by supervisor(s)
  • Project Contribution
    :
    • Begins to grasp expectation for next project tasks and contribute to project and design solutions.
    • Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues and has supervised coordination with various disciplines.
  • Financial Understanding
    :
    • Begins to develop a basic understanding of the financial aspects of projects and their profitability. This includes, but is not limited to, performing tasks within budget hours on assigned phases.
  • Quality and Accuracy
    :
    • Strives for program knowledge and reduction of repeat redlines.
    • Ensure thorough and accurate completion and coordination of drafting and redlines
    • Maintain competency through participation in training and Continuing Education programs.
    • Performing initial Completeness Check for quality and completeness.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Building and Accessibility Codes.
  • Administrative Tasks
    :
    • Complete timesheets and expense reports correctly and on time.
    • Update project dates/percent complete, as directed in Ajera.
    • Log Daily & Weekly Measurables in Bloom Growth.
    • Participate in setting and reaching quarterly rocks (goals).
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, Photoshop, Ajera, and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of architectural building systems and building codes.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Accountability and motivation.
  • Stress management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Primarily hybrid with occasional site visits.
  • Standard office conditions with typical noise levels.
  • May involve occasional exposure to construction site environments.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
  • May involve occasional local and out of state travel to perform surveys in various conditions.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
  • Full-time position.
  • Typical office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility, as approved by supervisor(s).
Travel
  • Travel may be required as needed.
Education and Experience
  • Accredited degree in Architecture or related field (Preferred)
  • Typically, 0-2 years in a similar role (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in relevant architectural software.
  • Experience in architectural building systems and construction documentation.
  • Certifications in relevant architectural software and methodologies are a plus.
