Description:

Huitt-Zollars has an Architectural Staff III opportunity in our Fort Worth, TX office. This position is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and career advancement within an award-winning design firm. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a fantastic team of architects. This role will assist the project architect and designer with Revit and presentation drawings.
Must be proficient in Revit.

Education: Bachelor's in Architecture required

Duties:

• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative design concepts
• Proposes more effective ways to accomplish tasks, leveraging creativity and problem-solving skills to enhance outcomes
• Seeks mentorship and guidance, while actively contributing to the mentorship of junior staff
• Produces detailed drawings, models, and presentations to effectively communicate design solutions
• Conducts research and analysis and ensures compliance with relevant codes and regulations
• Coordinates with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery
• Participates in client meetings, presentations, and reviews to gather feedback and refine design proposals
• Actively tracks path to licensure, seeking requisite opportunities for experience necessary for growth
• Demonstrates enjoyment of working in teams, willingly contributing, and supporting colleagues to achieve project goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Understands, follows, and enforces Huitt-Zollars' business process.
• Productively collaborates with others and leads or encourages teams to achieve success and camaraderie amongst each other.
• Understands and follows HZ QMS and Quality initiatives. Ensures quality control measures are being adhered to on projects and daily operations.
• Understands duties and responsibilities, possesses necessary job knowledge and technical skills, maintains job knowledge current.
• Assist with appropriate administrative and project support tasks supporting the needs of the project team and office.
• Complete assignments on-time, within budget, and with highest level of quality.
• Routinely proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish assignments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Seeking and actively pursuing NCARB/AIA Licensure
• 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably educational projects
• Proficiency in Revit
  , and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while recognizing the value of mentorship and guidance
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation is a plus
