Job Description:

The Acclaim Otolaryngology service is part of a multispecialty surgery group. The Acclaim surgery department currently has twenty-six providers covering cardiothoracic, vascular, plastic and reconstructive, general surgery, trauma, surgical oncology, urology, and ophthalmology. Our twenty-two skilled nurse practitioners and ten physician assistants compliment the groups success.

Our group is involved in patient care, education, and research. Our clinical team collaborates to provide comprehensive care of all ENT problems in a caring environment while utilizing modern surgical techniques and technologies. Medical student training is also an important mission for our faculty. The individual departmental faculty members actively participate in research and publish in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals. Within these rich clinical and academic practices, all members of our team provide compassionate, evidence-based care to achieve optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Job Summary:
The ENT Surgeon is responsible for administering and interpreting all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position will also educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider.

Position Details:
2.5 days in clinic
2 days OR block time
2 experienced NP/PA's to assist in the clinic and OR
Call 1:3
Mon-Fri Schedule
15-20 patients per day

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

• Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.

• Residency and/or Fellowship training within Otolaryngology.

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:

• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.

• Board Certification or Board Eligible.
