Position Summary:
The Department of Internal Medicine is currently recruiting a Full Time Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician to join a dynamic team delivering care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role combines critical care, inpatient pulmonary consults and procedures, outpatient pulmonary clinics, and academic teaching responsibilities. The exact percentage of pulmonary vs. critical care time will be tailored to the candidate's interest and departmental needs.

Job Summary:
Full-time position to work in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, with percentage allotted to each to be determined based on candidate’s and Acclaim’s needs.
The Physician is responsible for administering and interpreting all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position will also educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider.
Responsibilities include:
- Dedicated time rounding in the ICU, as well as to procedures and to the response and resuscitation of critically ill patients. Nights shared equally on a rotating schedule.
- Rounding on the inpatient pulmonary service, including bronchoscopy and other procedures.
- Regularly scheduled pulmonary clinics.
- Supervision and teaching of residents and medical students from varied specialties.
- EPIC EMR system.
