The Department of Family and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary team of dedicated healthcare providers and researchers who are committed to providing excellence in clinical care, primary care education, and research. Through innovative curricular designs, early clinical experiences, and mentorship, the Department is focused on producing highly competent, caring, and compassionate Family Medicine/OMM physicians, helping reduce the shortage of primary care physicians in our Texas communities.

The Department of Family and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor to join our team and help teach and mentor Doctor of Osteopathy medical students and residents. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Teaching and mentoring of medical students. Resident supervision with our ACGME approved Residency Programs in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM) Ambulatory patient care. Academic Scholarly Activity and Research encouraged with protected academic time and minimal call.
