Overview
Part-time English tutor needed, mainly for high school students, and mainly for SAT/ACT prep. As long as your grammar, writing, reading, and testing skills are strong, we can provide training on the new digital SAT.
Responsibilities- Provide SAT/ACT prep and English tutoring for high school students; tutor younger students may be requested but within the tutor's comfort zone.
- In-person tutoring at our local center in Cityview.
- During the school year, be available at least 6 hours per week, including 2 slots at 4:30-6:00 pm on weekdays and 2 slots on weekends (we are open all day Saturdays and on Sunday afternoons). In the summer, hours are 2:30-6:00 pm with fewer weekend sessions.
- Strong grammar, writing, reading, and testing skills; training on the new digital SAT provided.
- Candidates will be given the R/W portion only of an SAT and must score at least 700 to proceed with interview.
- In-person tutoring availability at our local center in Cityview.
$26/hr in-person tutoring at our local center in Cityview.
