The Little Gym of Fort Worth Southwest is a premier child development center that uses gymnastics, movement, and purposeful play to help children build confidence, develop new skills, and grow physically, socially, and emotionally.

We are looking for a dependable, professional, and energetic individual who is interested in becoming a long-term member of our team. This is not simply a temporary coaching position—we are looking for someone who wants to build relationships with children and families, take ownership of their role, and grow with our business.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates confidently with adults, takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience, and is looking for a position where they can make a meaningful impact every day.

This position requires open availability, including evenings and weekends, and will typically provide 30–40 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

As a member of our instructional team, you will:

  • Lead engaging gymnastics and child-development classes for children ages 4 months through 12 years using The Little Gym's established curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Create a positive, safe, structured, and encouraging environment for every child.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with our members and their families.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and help create the welcoming, family-centered experience our members expect.
  • Learn each child's individual needs and help them develop confidence, independence, physical skills, and a sense of accomplishment.
  • Work collaboratively with our leadership team and fellow instructors to maintain a high standard of programming and customer experience.
  • Assist with additional programs, special events, camps, birthday parties, and other gym operations as needed.
  • Take ownership of your responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the gym.
Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is seeking stable, long-term employment rather than a short-term or seasonal position.
  • Has open and flexible availability
, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Is dependable, punctual, responsible, and committed to their work.
  • Genuinely enjoys working with children and understands the importance of being a positive influence in their lives.
  • Is comfortable communicating professionally with parents and building lasting relationships with families.
  • Brings positive energy to work while also understanding the responsibility that comes with teaching and caring for children.
  • Is willing to learn, accept feedback, and continually improve.
  • Works well as part of a team but is also capable of taking initiative and working independently.
  • Is comfortable being physically active throughout the workday.

Experience in gymnastics, coaching, teaching, early childhood education, child development, physical education, recreation, or youth programming is a plus, but it is not required. We provide extensive training in The Little Gym curriculum and teaching philosophy.

More importantly, we are looking for the right person
—someone dependable, personable, motivated, and interested in making this role a meaningful part of their career.

Why Work at The Little Gym?

There is something special about watching a child accomplish something they didn't believe they could do.

Our instructors have the opportunity to become an important part of children's lives while building meaningful relationships with the families we serve. You will see children develop confidence, overcome challenges, learn new skills, and grow—sometimes over the course of many years.

We work hard, stay active, support one another, and have fun,…
