Electrical Engineer - Systems Integration/Test – Level 4
About the RoleThe Electronic Hardware Design (EHD) team develops flight worthy safety critical electronic hardware, embedded software, FPGAs and test equipment for Lockheed Martin Aero aircraft programs and related needs. This co‑located team includes electrical, mechanical, software, test and project management engineers under a single manager. Responsibilities include developing and verifying flight worthy electronic circuit cards, FPGAs and related test equipment; designing hardware architecture, circuit layout, mask design, device evaluation, test box design, prototype construction and checkout;
preparing test methods and specifications; qualifying hardware against requirements; authoring design documentation, test reports and technical analysis; providing finished device approval and qualification documentation; leading and developing a team that accomplishes these responsibilities; improving team processes and toolsets; consulting with suppliers to improve project performance and resolve technical issues; helping Lockheed Martin develop fully qualified flight worthy electronics at a greatly reduced cost and schedule.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Degree
- Demonstrated experience in circuit design, simulation, analysis
- Experience in Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design and Evaluation
- Experience with Electronic Hardware Integration, qualification, and Requirement Verification
- Cadence schematic capture, PCB layout Allegro
- Aerospace Product Development Experience
- Atlassian Tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
- Experience using Xilinx and/or Microsemi FPGAs, design and simulation tools (Xilinx Vivado, Microsemi Libero, Mentor Questa Sim)
- DO 178C/254 verification
- High Speed and RF design
- Agile Development Experience
- Technical requirement development, decomposition, verification experience
- System level integration experience
- Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen. Clearance level:
Secret.
