Licensed Transportation Engineer - Traffic/Technology Overview
Are you a licensed Professional Engineer looking to join an organization that is people-centric, growth-oriented, and results-driven? Olsson’s Traffic/Technology team offers comprehensive traffic services, including traffic operation studies, pedestrian circulation studies, and intersection improvement/design projects. We specialize in traffic signal design and timing, pavement marking design, street lighting analysis, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Our expertise also extends to complex projects like citywide safety studies and signal system improvements.

We have one position open and will consider candidates being located out of Plano or Fort Worth, TX office locations.
Responsibilities- Contribute to and lead traffic engineering projects within the Traffic/Technology team, including traffic operation studies, pedestrian circulation studies, and intersection improvement/design projects.
- Design and timing of traffic signals, pavement markings, street lighting analysis, and ITS applications.
- Participate in or lead citywide safety studies and signal system improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to deliver transportation solutions that improve safety, mobility, and efficiency.

You bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 4 - 8 years of relevant traffic engineering experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Micro Station
