Senior Environmental Licensing Specialist – Enercon Services, Inc.
Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Licensing Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will bring your expertise to aid in interactions with regulatory agencies and stakeholders, help gather data during site visits, and stay updated on environmental regulations. You will have the opportunity to perform and lead environmental analyses in support of nuclear environmental licensing projects nationwide.

- Additional office locations possible for the right candidate.
- Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments to evaluate the potential impact of proposed nuclear facilities on air, water, and land resources; prepare reports in accordance with NRC regulations, NEPA, and applicable guidelines.
- Support environmental licensing applications for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
- Participate in site visits to gather environmental data and assess potential impacts; support development of technical content (text, figures, tables) for reports and feasibility assessments.
- Interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the public to address environmental concerns; prepare presentations and reports to communicate complex information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental protection measures.
- Travel for fieldwork as needed (~10% of time; typical trips 3–4 days).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, or related field.
- Minimum six years of experience in environmental consulting, nuclear power, or related field.
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations (NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, etc.).
- Experience working with federal or state regulatory agencies.
- Experience developing technical and environmental reports and supporting regulatory reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
USD $96,000.00 – $ / Yr.
