Description
You will be the System Design Engineer supporting the Communication Navigation and Identification (CNI) team of F-35 System Design Engineers. Our team is responsible for developing Air System and Mission System Requirements Work Packages (RWP) for new capabilities.
What You Will Be DoingAs the System Design Engineer you will be working closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to decompose requirements.
- Creating RWPs
- Working with IPTs to decompose requirements
- Working across the F-35 air system to decompose requirements to tier 3
- Working through mission systems phase 1-3 to further decompose requirements

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications- Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college
- Experience with development and/or integration of CNI Subsystems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Proven track record of building relationships, fostering collaboration and working cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with Production and Sustainment of the CNI Avionics Suite
- MBSE Design & Implementation
- Cross-Functional leadership
- Integration & Test
- Export Control
- Software Development
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
