Lockheed Martin Aeronautics – Airframe Structures Design Engineer (Full‑Time, ADP, Fort Worth, TX)

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full‑time Airframe Structures Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) in Fort Worth, Texas. The successful candidate will apply technical expertise to develop solutions to aircraft structural design problems.

• Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
• Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.
• Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
• Coordinating with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and, as needed, external IPTs and suppliers.

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, or an equivalent 3‑D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
• Experience creating and/or modifying drawings.

• Experience with 3DX or CATIA V5.
• Experience in detailed design of composite and metallic structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment.

This position requires a government security clearance and the candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level:
Secret

Work is onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. 4x10 hour day schedule with 3 days off per week.
