Basic Qualifications

Product Structure Audit Analys
Validates bill of material (BOM) and audits Material Management and Accounting (MMAS) for compliance, ensuring accuracy to the Manufacturing Bill of Material(MBOM). Approves material master request or makes changes necessary to the product structure from material masters per the data owner as required. Approves all operative material master records, performing transaction change activity within applicable software systems. Performs liaison action with other departments and functions as required in the performance of assigned tasks.
Uses independent discretion and action in the verification of the MBOM accuracy, utilizing engineering data, planning, and other source documents. Coordinates with others to create and maintain accurate BOM & material master records. Assists in developing status reports. Approves or rejects material master requests and/or raw material requests for creations of changes of master data on the materials masters, using applicable software systems.
Maintains material master data fields and may coordinates with others to ensure that accurate data is loaded into applicable systems to control MRP processing by approving or rejecting material master requests. Confirms values submitted for material master records, coordination with Change Implementation Cell (CIC) and requesting organizations. Ensures that requested changes are approved by appropriate data owner and verifies that any impacted fields to material master are handled.
Obtains pricing and usage of electrical or mechanical hardware through coordination with Procurement and Manufacturing Planning departments. Serves as focal point for materials that require change from project stock to plant stock. Investigates, analyzes and resolves problems made apparent by exception reports. Interfaces with Manufacturing Engineering planners on squawks.
