Description

Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify system TEMPEST solutions across the system lifecycle including site standup and sustainment. Evaluates customer/operational needs to coordinate appropriate TEMPEST requirements, conduct analysis of TEMPEST mitigation mechanisms, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility and TEMPEST security of all physical, functional and system interfaces. Coordinates and addresses TEMPEST impact due to Diminishing Manufacturing Sources.

Develops, evaluates and analyzes design constraints, trade–offs and detailed system and TEMPEST design.

Coordinate with customers, customer representatives, systems architects and developers to provide oversight in the development, rollout, and sustainment of fielded TEMPEST solutions. Test, evaluate, and verify hardware and/or software systems and implementation plans to determine compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Implements appropriate TEMPEST activities to support Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

Candidates must exhibit excellent problem‑solving skills, be a team player, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to adjust work schedule periodically to support program activities.

Basic

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline from an accredited college.
  • Certified TEMPEST Professional – Level I or II.
Desired Skills
  • Possessing a Certified TEMPEST Professional – Level I or Level II certification is desired.
  • At least one semester class or equivalent experience in Electromagnetics.
  • At least one semester class or equivalent experience in Antennas.
  • Good communication skills preferred, as position requires interfacing with internal and external customers to report technical, and scheduling status.
  • Experience working in teams and interfacing with external customers, and experience in project management skill sets desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with US Government standards for Cyber Security

Security Clearance Statement

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Clearance Level

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
