Description
We are Lockheed Martin. We are seeking a highly motivated Electro‑Optical Engineer to join our Engineering Project Management team. The successful candidate will oversee design, development, and integration of electro‑optic (EO) subsystems for aerospace defense applications on the F-22 aircraft.
This role involves close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, software, and test engineers to deliver high‑performance optical payloads that meet stringent performance, reliability, and cost targets.
What You Will Be DoingAs an Engineering Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of EO components.
Your responsibilities will also include coordination with BOE authors, Proposal integrators, Engineering leadership, Proposal Management, Estimating and Pricing and Contracts.
** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. **

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field
- U.S. government security clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret)
- Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams
- Previous experience related to BOE development, proposal process, and contracts
- Experience in electro‑optical system design, integration, or testing.
- CAM Certification
- F-22 platform experience
- Experience with Aeronautics Proposal Tool Suite (APTS)
- Engineering project management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
