Description

We’re seeking a world‑class Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Compatibility to lead the design, analysis, and verification of EMC solutions for our most critical aerospace platforms. As a Level3 expert, you will drive architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure our systems meet stringent electromagnetic performance and safety standards while delivering mission‑ready capability for the nation’s premier aircraft.

What

You Will Be Doing

Systems Engineering work to include but not limited to leading requirements development, tracking, and verification testing of a system. A strong background in system integration and test is required for performing platform level Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing. A background in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) including Radio Frequency (RF) systems, RF COSITE analysis, antenna systems and measurement, RF/Fiber optic cabling, antenna radome performance, system intra‑operability, aircraft power systems, electromagnetic radiation hazard (EMRADHAZ), electrical wiring design and avionics hardware is desired.

Oversee the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of developmental and deployable systems or payloads onto various flight test fighter platforms. EMC design of flight test modification test procedures are required to ensure proper implementation. This role requires domestic travel.

Basic Qualifications
  • STEM degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or Physics
  • 5 years of system integration testing experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Design concepts of system‑level EMC testing with experience
  • Knowledge of MIL‑STD‑461F/G, MIL‑STD‑464C/D
  • Basic understanding of the Systems Engineering process
  • Ability to multi‑task and work with multiple teams on different concurrent projects
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems, RF COSITE analysis, antenna systems and RF measurement techniques, RF/Fiber optic cabling, and/or antenna radome performance
  • Experience authoring documents using Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in a flight test environment
Security Clearance Statement

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
