Project Engineer About the Role
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our team and work on a variety of projects in solid waste management, including landfills, landfill gas systems, composting facilities, and related infrastructure. What You’ll Do- Apply engineering and scientific principles to solid waste and environmental projects.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting, perform calculations, and create detailed drawings.
- Prepare engineering reports, permit applications, and technical documentation.
- Make decisions on engineering methods, coordinate project work, and represent the company at meetings and industry events.
- Conduct fieldwork in different terrain and weather conditions.
- Handle office tasks like drafting, calculations, site plans, facility diagrams, and permit applications.
- Support business development through proposals, client meetings, and participation in conferences and trade shows.
- Work closely with senior engineers on complex challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
- 4+ years of experience in civil engineering and/or solid waste design.
- E.I.T. certification required; P.E. license preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
