Job Summary

XTI Aerospace is seeking an experienced Actuation Integrator to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and seamless integration of actuation systems into our next-generation aircraft, including our flagship Tri Fan 600. Your work will ensure that hydraulic, electric, or electro‑mechanical actuators operate efficiently and reliably, interfacing smoothly with our flight control and overall aircraft systems while meeting strict regulatory and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

System Integration:

  • Design, develop, and integrate actuation systems for aerospace applications.
  • Ensure actuation components interface effectively with flight control, avionics, and structural systems.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams (e.g., flight control, structures, avionics, testing) and key suppliers to align actuation system integration with overall aircraft design objectives.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on actuation system requirements.
  • Testing & Validation:

  • Develop and execute integration test plans, including bench testing, simulation, and flight test support, to verify the performance and reliability of actuation systems.
  • Analyze test data and resolve integration issues through iterative design improvements.
  • Documentation & Compliance:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, integration procedures, and test reports.
  • Ensure actuation systems comply with relevant FAA, EASA, and industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and adopt new technologies or methods to improve actuation system performance.
  • Support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for any integration‑related challenges.
  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in actuation system integration within the aerospace industry.
    • Proven experience integrating actuation systems in aerospace or similarly complex industries.
    • Familiarity with hydraulic, electric, or electro‑mechanical actuation systems and flight control interfaces.
    • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with flight control systems or actuation testing procedures.
    • Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
    • Prior involvement in certification processes and compliance documentation.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Solid Works) for geometry preparation and design.
    Salary Range

    $110,900-$120,200
