A319 Retrofit Interiors Engineer

Bev is the coordinator for this role. New position. Not open to H1B candidates at this time. 100% on site. In-person preferred for local candidates. Virtual is acceptable.

• Provide support to cabin electrical, IFE, and WIFI systems.
• Support repair and alterations of the cabin electrical systems via EO or EA.
• Work with other engineering teams to create or revise task cards, AMM, IPC, AWDM, and CMMs for cabin electrical systems.
• Investigate and develop fixes for reliability items on cabin electrical systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and OEMs to develop alterations to existing systems, including possible removal and replacement of a system or component to support ongoing efforts.
• Support line operations by reviewing daily out-of-service aircraft or degraded systems and providing technical support.

• BS in Engineering (required, not Engineering Technology and not Engineering Management), Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Ten or more years of experience in aircraft In-Flight Entertainment, WiFi, or aircraft cabin electrical systems.
• Experience with airline processes and procedures. AA experience preferred.
• Must have good interpersonal skills, work well with others in a group, and be self-motivated and able to prioritize workload and multiple high-priority items.
