Description
The Capture Program Quality Engineer (PQE) will be responsible for performing the quality role supporting new programs. This position will be the primary point of contact among all quality functions that serve to support these programs during the capture phase of the contract life cycle. The role includes supporting program meetings, technical requirement discussions, development of the Program Quality Management Plan (PQMP), risk identification and mitigation, coordination with all internal functional teams, and customer negotiations.
The position is intended to be an innovator who accomplishes the successful integration and deployment of quality systems and functions throughout Aeronautics’ capture value stream. Must be a U.S. citizen to support a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications- Experience developing processes and procedures for standard work
- Experience building relationships with internal and external customers
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards (AS9100, AS9110, ISO
9001, FAR, DFAR, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- Ability to work without appreciable direction
- Risk and opportunity identification, elevation, and mitigation
- Project management experience
- Root cause corrective action skills
- Visualization tool creation experience
Security clearance:
Secret. This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen.
The employee selected for this position will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The schedule is 4x10 hour days with 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules and provides paid time off benefits.
