As a Civil 3D Technician, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of municipal and private development projects throughout North Texas. You'll play an important role in transforming engineering concepts into construction-ready plans while continuing to grow your technical skills.
What You'll Work On
Projects may include:
Sanitary sewer systems
Storm drainage systems
Roadway and paving improvements
Site development and grading
Utility infrastructure improvements
Responsibilities
Develop plan, profile, cross section, and detail sheets
Create and edit surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks
Assist with grading and utility layouts
Prepare exhibits and supporting graphics for project deliverables
Revise plans based on internal QA/QC reviews and agency comments
Coordinate with engineers and project managers throughout the design process
Participate in occasional field visits to verify existing conditions and support project development
Qualifications
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience preparing civil engineering construction plans
Knowledge of municipal infrastructure, roadway, drainage, utility, or land development projects
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver's license preferred
