This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX.
Standards and CalibrationBring your experience and ideas and help us support the calibration of measurement equipment for production, quality, engineering, and flight test. You will work with Standards and Calibration engineers and equipment custodians to ensure equipment is calibrated in an efficient and reliable manner. This team is responsible for maintaining standards and measurement equipment for physical properties other than dimensional. This includes electrical-electronic, pressure, force, gas and liquid flow, temperature, humidity, time, frequency, acceleration, acoustic measurement, and gas analysis.
What you’ll be doing as a Senior Standards and Calibration TechnicianPerform calibrations and adjustments to measurement equipment per calibration procedures.
Document calibration details in an equipment management system.
Support engineers with calibration procedure development and testing.
Coordinate resources to provide onsite calibration support at multiple Bell facilities in the DFW area.
Communicate with equipment custodians when problems with equipment are identified.
Skills You Bring To this RoleMinimum 2 or more years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with measurement equipment (such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, transducers, radio ‑ frequency devices) and/or laboratory standards.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to analyze results and troubleshoot equipment.
Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
Associate's degree, Technical School training certification, or military training in PMEL preferred
