Job Description
Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for some of the largest and most forward-thinking and desirable companies in the world to work for. The large hyperscale data center campuses we design throughout the U.S. will give you the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects being built today. Our clients are relationship based and truly value the work we do for them, affording us the opportunity to contribute to society’s technological and connected community through the design of the critical infrastructure that is the foundation of these projects.
This role is essential in planning, site feasibility, due diligence, and entitlement for data center development projects nationwide. Experience or coursework in site selection, utility planning, development due diligence, permitting, environmental constraints analysis, land entitlement, or infrastructure planning is a plus. Guided by planners, project managers, and technical leaders, this role includes conducting research, site evaluations, permitting assessments, coordinating with stakeholders, and preparing reports and planning documents for some of the industry's largest and most complex site development and infrastructure projects.
The Planner role focuses on gathering and assessing information related to zoning, land use, utilities, environmental constraints, permitting requirements, infrastructure availability, and development regulations to improve project planning and decision-making. Working within multidisciplinary project teams, this position identifies risks, opportunities, and constraints that impact site feasibility, entitlement strategy, and successful project delivery.
We currently have one opening and welcome candidates from any Olsson office location. This role offers flexible work options to support diverse preferences and enhance work-life balance.
