Building Automation & Integration Engineer
A remote opportunity for an experienced engineer based in Serbia.

Black Nova is looking for a hands-on engineer with at least five years of relevant experience in building automation, smart-home integration, controls, commissioning, or a closely related field.
You will help us integrate, configure, test, and troubleshoot Black Nova keypads, sensors, thermostats, Nova Hub, relays, and dimmers.
What you’ll work on- Product integration, testing, configuration, and commissioning
- Troubleshooting firmware, wiring, networking, and communication issues
- Supporting system integrators and international partners remotely
- Preparing test setups, technical documentation, and integration examples
- Supporting worldwide projects on site when required
- Based in Serbia and able to work effectively in a remote team
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant automation or integration role
- Very good spoken and written English
- Strong troubleshooting skills and practical electrical/networking knowledge
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, pinouts, system topologies, and technical documentation
- Professional communication with customers, partners, and technical teams
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally without restrictions
Occasional travel may include training at our facilities in Italy or on-site support for projects worldwide, depending on business and project needs.
We want someone practical, responsible, and comfortable taking ownership of technical issues from investigation through resolution.
