Performs property tax research to solve complex problems associate with most functions in the assessment and collection of ad valorem taxes.

High school diploma or GED and two (2) years full-time of general office or retail work experience. Prefer experience with electronic payment processing and knowledge of credit card and e-check processing. Experience with business machines, computers and basic business math is desired. Knowledge of property tax processing is desired. Employees may be required to work at any of the Tax Office locations.

Tarrant County will conduct background checks on new hires that will include a criminal background check related to convictions and deferred adjudication in the past seven years and may include financial history reports, motor vehicle records, employment records and educational attainment.
