Job OverviewThe Tax Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for all phases of client engagements, including primary client relationship maintenance, proactive tax compliance management, tax advisory services, and developing and coaching professional staff. The role delivers exceptional client service, maintains strong client relationships, assists in the firm’s practice development, expands services to existing clients, and helps recruit and retain additional team members. Candidates must understand and manage firm risk on tax services, review complex tax returns, grow technical knowledge, and provide value-added planning ideas.
RequiredExpertise
- High net worth individuals – personal tax returns, trust returns, gift & estate planning
- Privately held businesses – partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations
- Private equity backed portfolio companies
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience, including technical consulting, research, and implementation of planning strategies.
- Minimum of 2 years supervising multiple direct reports and reviewing their work product.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
- Active CPA license.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
