Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate and efficient accounting processes. This position offers the opportunity to oversee critical accounting activities and contribute to the organization's success.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.

- Oversee and review the trial balance and general ledger to maintain financial integrity.

- Conduct thorough reviews of journal entries to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities, ensuring smooth operations.

- Document and refine accounting processes and procedures to optimize efficiency.

- Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to provide necessary information and support.

- Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data to ensure consistency.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to improve operations and decision-making. Requirements - Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and financial reporting.

- Strong expertise in handling general ledger and trial balance operations.

- Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

- Demonstrated ability to review and manage journal entries effectively.

- Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.

- Excellent organizational and documentation skills for process improvement.

- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
