Senior Accountant

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse financial projects and contribute to our company's financial strategies and decisions.

• Manage all aspects of the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries, analysis of account balances, and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they comply with financial regulations and standards.
• Review and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors, prepare necessary documents, and assist with annual audit processes.
• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes to improve financial operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on month-end close processes.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software and databases.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
