Supervisor, Account Resolutions
EECU is looking for a dynamic leader to lead our Account Resolutions (collections) team!
As the Supervisor of Account Resolutions
, you will lead a team of over 10 direct reports to ensure individual and group goals are consistently achieved. You will provide ongoing coaching and development with daily interactions, work closely with the Account Resolutions Manager to ensure adherence of applicable credit union guidelines are within compliance at all times, communicate training opportunities with current staff, and develop new hires in the department.
Partnering with the Manager on recruitment and performance management will be key throughout the year.
Responsible for compliance with all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, FCRA/FACTA, and the Fair Debt Collections Act. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:
- Proven supervisory leadership and development of a team of 10 or more.
- Four years’ experience with consumer and mortgage lending and automobile collections in a servicing environment.
- Minimum three years of customer service experience.
- High level of experience with deceased, bankruptcy accounts and repossessions.
- Must be able to supervise the repossession and remarking process.
- Able to approve/decline accounts assigned for repossession and loans for extensions.
- In-depth knowledge of collection laws and bankruptcy laws.
- Strong oral, written, and strong communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual preferred – able to read, write, speak Spanish.
- Able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday (hours Mon‑Fri between 8 am‑7 pm, Sat 9 am‑1 pm).
- EECU will, in compliance with applicable laws, evaluate an applicant’s credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions. If offered a position with EECU, the applicant will have to clear a background check including employment, criminal, and drug screen.
