The Client Partnership Group focuses on investor engagement and product communication for the firm's direct lending strategy.
The Product Specialist Associate will support Crestline's direct lending strategy within the Client Partnership Group. This role is well-suited for a candidate with 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, or an investment team who is comfortable managing deliverables end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Investor Engagement:
- Prepare clear, detailed responses to investor inquiries related to fund performance, asset performance, portfolio composition, credit metrics, and investment activity.
- Synthesize complex investment information into professional materials for current and prospective investors.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly portfolio reports and presentations, partnering with deal teams and operations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Analyze Portfolio & Market Data:
- Track and analyze key portfolio metrics including yield, leverage, defaults, and recoveries.
- Monitor developments in the direct lending market, including competitive dynamics, borrower demand, and macroeconomic trends impacting middle-market credit.
Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, or a related investment role; working understanding of direct lending and private credit structures including senior-secured loans; strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
