Overview

Billing Coordinator – Caregiver (Onsite)

Fort Worth, Texas 76109

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Billing Coordinator to manage client billing processes and ensure accurate, timely reimbursement from funding sources. In this role, you will review service documentation, prepare and submit claims, resolve discrepancies, and support financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with diverse teams, and committed to maintaining compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Note: Onsite in Fort Worth, Texas 76109.

Responsibilities
  • Review documentation to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and submit claims to Medicaid, insurance providers, and government agencies.
  • Verify service data, units billed, and reimbursement rates; ensure proper coding.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with program staff and providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, remittances, and billing documentation.
  • Generate reports on accounts receivable, collections, and reimbursements.
  • Assist with reconciliations, month-end/year-end close, and audits.
  • Respond to client and funder inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, funding sources, and internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and other funding source regulations and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with electronic billing systems and proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in working with complex billing codes and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, funding sources, and internal stakeholders.
Education and/or Experience
  • Associate s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with billing software and Zirmed
