Work location:

Hours:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (required)
• Pharm
  
  D (required)
• CLIAFER requirement for foreign education equivalency (required)
• Pharmacist license upon hire (required)
• 3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred
• PGY1 residency completion (or equivalence) highly preferred
• Experience working in an inpatient acute care setting highly preferred
• IV certification highly preferred
• Proficient in written and verbal English, computer proficiency, basic math skills (required)

• Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork
• Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities
• Provision of clinical pharmacy services for safe and efficient patient care
• Ensuring accuracy of own work and maintaining required competencies and documentation; supporting department’s quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Ongoing professional development and growth
• Managing own time while sharing responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs and discovering process efficiencies
• Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available
• Other duties as assigned
