Direct Care - Clinical Therapist/Social Work/Case Worker
QMHP-CS (Qualified Mental Health Professional-Community Service)
The position of QMHP-CSis a direct care position with the expectation that at least 50% of his/her work time is spent face to face with the individuals that MHMR of Tarrant County serves. The position has specializations that include functioning as a Rehabilitative Case Manager (RCM, RCM-I) or a Clinical Coordinator (CC). A QMHP-CS functions as a part of the treatment team in the clinic to which he/she is assigned, and provides assessment, recovery planning, and ongoing treatment in order to assist individuals with severe and persistent mental illness to gain the skills, resources, and supports necessary to attain their individualized recovery goals.
Services may be provided in the clinic or in the community. The specific job function designation (RCM, RCM-I, CC) determines what percentage of time the QMHP spends in the clinic or the community. Providing services in the community entails travel (often in the QMHP’s own vehicle) and work throughout Tarrant County, in a variety of neighborhood and home conditions.

SubstitutionsOR Bachelor's degree with at least 30 hours of behavioral health coursework.
Required License(s)Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Eligible to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-CS) certification.
Must provide license (if applicable) and official documentation of all educational attainment i.e. Transcript/Degree/Certificate

All staff are required to participate in agency Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety programs and may be assigned by their departments as a key/essential staff level function during critical events or for the purpose of sustaining business continuity.
This position may require temporary or permanent re-assignment to any MHMR Tarrant facility as determined by program needs and /or the Division/Director.
Assigned work hours may change as the needs of the agency change.
The functional Title of this position may change as the needs of the agency change.
All work will be complete within the scheduled work hours. All non-exempt (hourly) employee are expected to clock In and out for each work shift, no work done should be done off the clock.
Prior approval from supervisor is required for all Paid Time Off (PTO) and Overtime.
MHMR reserves the tight to change, and to or eliminate a position as it deems appropriate.
