Physical Therapy Assistant

Implements physical therapy treatment plans under supervision, serving patients across all ages.

• Self-assessing and sharing knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Effective communication with patients, healthcare team members, and families.
• Logical questioning, problem identification, data analysis, and solution implementation.
• Supporting student training by completing assessments and promoting education.
• Fostering collaborative relationships, actively listening, and embracing change.
• Assisting with data collection, conducting exercise and treatment programs, and monitoring patient progress.
• Preparing documentation, aiding in discharge planning, and promoting evidence-based practices.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Preferred experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or Assistant.
• Current licensure as a PTA with active and good standing, plus BLS certification.
• Must obtain BLS within 90 days if not already certified.
