Human Resources Coordinator Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in creating a positive, engaging employee experience  coordinator is eager to learn and grow in a supportive, hands‑on environment. They will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations, while developing skills that support a long‑term career in human resources.

Location
  • Onsite in Fort Worth, TX
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities Employee Experience & Culture
  • Promote a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace by being approachable, responsive, and supportive to all team members.
  • Help design and deliver employee engagement programs that strengthen connection and morale across all company locations.
  • Coordinate and lead company events, celebrations, and culture‑building activities that align with PTR’s values.
  • Partner with department leaders to maintain open communication and consistent employee experiences.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Support the full recruiting process, ensuring a positive and equitable candidate experience.
  • Manage job postings, coordinate interviews, and conduct initial candidate screenings.
  • Maintain community partnerships (e.g., schools, trade programs).
  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee information within the HRIS (e.g., Paylocity, HiBob), ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
  • Administer benefits communication and assist employees with questions about coverage, eligibility, and enrollment.
  • Monitor compliance with employment laws and company policies, recommending updates as needed.
  • Handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
Training & Development
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs, including scheduling and tracking completion.
  • Support employee development initiatives and training grant opportunities to enhance workforce growth.
Administrative & Office Support
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including document management and meeting coordination.
  • Serve as a backup receptionist, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for employees and guests.
  • Oversee the company cleaning program, maintaining consistent quality standards across all locations.
Requirements Must Have
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources (generalist or coordinator level).
  • SHRM‑CP certification or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong critical thinking, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
Nice to Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience using HRIS or payroll systems (Paylocity, HiBob, etc.).
