As Salesforce Administrator, you will lead the way in Salesforce becoming Valor’s “single source of truth”! You will meet with the C-Suite and Directors for strategic planning to create custom solutions for unique business needs. You will lead a team of Salesforce professionals to bring these custom solutions to life. Valor currently uses Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Data Cloud.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform by gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road map. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore, the Senior Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management, including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms and clearly explain design options and their potential impact.

Candidates outside a reasonable commuting distance will be considered for a hybrid role.

To be considered for the position, all candidates must complete the following two assessments:
This is a varied, business-facing role with the following responsibilities:
  • All aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules, troubleshooting
  • Administer and maintain our Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, reports, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain custom solutions using Salesforce tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Apex.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations.
  • Conduct data quality and integrity checks, and perform data migrations and uploads.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend new features and enhancements aligned with business goals.
  • Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
  • Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
  • Dev Ops/release management experience
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features
  • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Proactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, health check, and Optimizer
Qualifications and Background

Required:
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least five years of hands‑on Salesforce Administration experience.
Preferred:
  • Additional Salesforce certifications
  • Experience with Tableau and Agent Force
