Job Summary:
SAP Basis Administrator with over 10 years of experience managing SAP on premise and cloud SAP OS/DB migrations, preferably to Azure. The successful candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and substantial experience in a wide range of SAP systems for both technical and application related aspects of SAP systems environments.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.

Monitor and maintain system/application resources and hardware.

Provide technical guidance and support on SAP systems.

Participate in development and implementation of system and application strategies.

Design, install, configure, test, and implement SAP systems.

Manage SAP OS/DB migration to cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

Assist in the development and validation of Disaster Recovery processes.

Provide quality assurance reviews of system implementations.

Troubleshoot application, database, system and system/application interface issues.

Recommend system design and implementation improvements.

Participate in the development of system and application architecture.

Administer SAP system security and control access to the system.

Collaborate with other personnel to identify and resolve issues.

Manage and implement solutions to system issues.

Optimize system performance and respond to system errors.

Create documents, procedures, technical specifications.

Plan and coordinate SAP system upgrades.

Training and mentoring of junior SAP team members.

Qualifications:

At least 10+ years working with SAP Systems in production support, development and infrastructure architecture.

Significant SAP OS/DB migration experience to Cloud (Preferably Azure).

Excellent knowledge of SAP components and extensions such as BI, BW, CRM, SRM, PI, EP, SCM, GRC, ESS/Client, Fiori, etc.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure, programming languages, network systems, databases and storage subsystems.

Strong customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

Experience in SAP HANA, Oracle DB, SQL and Sybase database administration and recovery.

Understanding of Cloud and virtualization technologies (AWS and Azure).

Ability to quickly learn and work with new system technologies.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.

Ability to multitask while ensuring that accuracy is not compromised.

SAP Basis certification is desirable.
