Kalman & Company Inc. is seeking a full-time Planning and Estimating Assistant (PEA) to support Project Engineers and the Engineering Lead in executing daily scheduling, data management, and quality assurance tasks. This role is essential to maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely data entry, and supporting mission readiness. Applicants must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Duties
  • Perform visual and technical inspections of Warehouse Management System (WMS) inputs and outputs as trained or in the absence of the Project Engineer.
  • Analyze data and compile reports for review by Project Engineers, Engineering Leads, and upper management.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to provide and process scheduling and support information.
  • Respond to inquiries and process orders, forms, and requests within WMS and related systems.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to designated management personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure continued support and follow-up.
  • Assist in maintaining the accuracy and quality of C  inventory data using WMS dashboards and modules.
  • Input and manage various types of data related to customer interactions and operational support.
Minimum Required Education / Qualifications

Candidates MUST:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have an active Secret Clearance.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to work on their feet and / or sitting down for up to 8 hours a day in a climate controlled or non-climate controlled environment.
  • Be able to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Education / Qualifications
  • Experience with WMS or similar data management systems.
  • Background in scheduling, logistics, or administrative support.

Familiarity with quality assurance and technical documentation
