Senior/Lead Information Technology Business Analyst – Fort Worth, TX
Must reside in Fort Worth, Texas today! 5 days onsite requirement.
Job SummaryThe Senior/Lead IT Business Analyst partners with business and technical stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document complex technology and process requirements. This role drives process improvement, ensures compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and supports the successful delivery and adoption of enterprise systems from concept through post‑implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to elicit, analyze, and document complex end‑user technology needs, ensuring all proposed solutions comply with applicable rules, statutes, and standards.
- Develop current‑state and future‑state process models; identify opportunities to improve business operations, efficiency, and system alignment.
- Lead requirements definition activities, including functional, non‑functional, data, interface, and user experience requirements.
- Establish, maintain, and execute effective knowledge transfer and communication strategies for internal teams and external partners.
- Provide advanced problem resolution and technical support during system implementation and through post‑implementation stabilization until project closure.
- Identify, assess, and resolve fit‑gap issues between existing systems and future solutions, supporting informed decision‑making.
- Advanced expertise in researching, analyzing, and documenting complex business processes, including business process re‑engineering.
- Proven ability to produce high‑quality requirements, design documentation, and implementation artifacts using tools such as Microsoft Visio and Adobe.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate software solutions, prioritize requirements, and address system integration and data challenges.
- Excellent technical writing skills, with experience developing and maintaining business processes, policies, procedures, and user documentation.
- Solid understanding of Business Analysis and Project Management principles, best practices, and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of four (4) years of documented experience in requirements definition, system design, and system implementation for commercial off‑the‑shelf or custom‑developed solutions.
- Experience working within Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), including Agile development methodologies.
