Senior PowerBuilder Developer

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Power Builder Developer to join their team! This position is located in Fort Worth, Texas.

Duties:

• Collaborates with product stakeholders and team members, both technical and non-technical, to understand requirements and develop solutions according to business requirements
• Designs and implements user interactions on web pages
• Designs and implements cloud-based back-end services and APIs
• Ensures responsiveness and maintains the security of applications
• Integrates UI code with backend services through API
• Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues
• Improves the delivery process to optimize delivery of value, frequency, and quality of deployments while improving product quality by implementing CI/CD best practices
• Develops scalable and re-usable frameworks for data set ingestion, including event based/stream processing using Azure Data Factory
• Implements best practices for end-to-end data pipelines ensuring the quality and consistency of data is always maintained
• Implements and debugs infrastructure as code, including associated storage and network resources, using technologies such as Terraform, Azure Dev Ops, and/or Git Hub Actions

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline
• 7+ years of Powerbuilder Programming experience
• 7+ years of Oracle/SQL Development
• 7+ years of application support experience
• 5+ years of application development experience
• 5+ years of experience defining user requirements
• 2+ years of Angular application development experience
• 2+ years of Infrastructure as Code, Terraform experience
• Experience with Dev Ops Toolchain methodologies, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
• Experience with Agile project management methodology
• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
• Possess a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
• Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Experience supporting 24/7 critical applications
