Desktop IT Support Analyst

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Experience: 3+ Years

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly and thoroughly while coordinating multiple activities.
• Proficiency in assembling hardware and software components; performing hardware and software integration to deliver a fully operational stand‑alone computer system.
• Capability to communicate with vendors to resolve non‑functioning equipment issues and arrange replacements or exchanges.

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least three (3) years of information technology work experience.
• Experience configuring and installing PCs and related software, and setting up and configuring network connections to file servers, application servers and the Internet.
• Experience coordinating deliveries and installations, performing system tests, managing installations, de‑installations, and providing replacement systems as required.

First‑level PC & hardware support

• Provides basic PC hardware & software support.
• Coordinates ordering, inventory, and installation.
• Installs and configures desktops and peripherals.
• Manages vendor coordination for equipment issues.

• Provide first‑level PC technical support for all County employees and remote sites for both hardware and software.
• Coordinate ordering, receiving, inventory, assembly, integration, check‑out, delivery and installation of personal computer‑related hardware and software.
• Monitor and manage computer setup options for routine computer operations.
• Coordinate orders for needed computer equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment is ordered by purchase orders and verify delivery dates.
• Ensure that equipment is delivered in good condition and contact vendor(s) to resolve any problems (delivery, equipment, etc.) and/or coordinate delivery schedules and destinations of computer hardware and software.
• Verify hardware and software shipments against County purchase orders and inspect equipment upon arrival.
