This person will serve as a hands‑on LIMS/LIS Administrator supporting a complex laboratory environment. They'll work closely with laboratory staff to administer and maintain the system, troubleshoot user and system issues, support reporting and basic SQL queries, manage access and workflows, and assist with laboratory systems and instrument integrations. They'll also coordinate with IT, database teams, and vendors on patches, upgrades, and technical issues.
A major component of the role will be learning the existing environment from the long-tenured administrator, documenting that knowledge, and becoming increasingly independent in supporting the lab. This is not a heavy software development position. The ideal candidate understands how laboratories operate and has enough technical LIMS/LIS and SQL experience to effectively support the system.
