They offer remote and on-site services in more than 350 languages for over 6,000 clients with a highly experienced staff and over 8,000 contract interpreters.

We currently need Onsite American Sign Language Interpreters in the Fort Worth, TX area who have a sincere desire to use their language skills to help people and are passionate about what they do.

• Provide consecutive in-person and virtual interpretation by phone and video, as well as remote first-person interpretation.
• Follow interpreter protocols and procedures required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Adhere to Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and other applicable regulations or policies.
• Establish and maintain quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, healthcare providers, and clinical employees.
• Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge, as required for various clients such as medical, legal, social services, etc.

• Updated resume submission.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Intermediate level computer skills.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Documentation of updated vaccinations, including TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or declination), TdAP, seasonal influenza, and COVID.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check & security screen.
• Signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

• 1+ year(s) of interpreting experience.

• National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC)
• International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA)
• California Healthcare Interpreters Association (CHIA)
