Senior In-House Litigation Attorney – Epic
Epic is seeking an exceptional attorney to join our legal team in Madison, WI. This position requires relocation to the Madison area; we provide financial relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex litigation across regulatory, competition, and healthcare law domains.
- Advise on risk mitigation, draft motions, briefs, and other litigation materials.
- Handle multi‑million dollar disputes, striving to win cases and minimize exposure.
- Lead settlement negotiations and represent the company in high‑stakes legal proceedings.
- Build relationships with vendors and industry collaborators to ensure compliance with evolving legal frameworks in the U.S. and abroad.
- JD with a strong academic and professional background.
- Experience counseling toward risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, conducting oral arguments, leading settlement negotiations, and trying cases.
- Knowledge of competition and regulatory litigation is a plus.
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
- Eye for detail and a creative, proactive mindset.
Relocation to the Madison, WI area is necessary, and the company will fully reimburse related expenses. Compensation includes a competitive salary, bonuses, stock grants, and annual raises.
