Senior Transportation Attorney Position (Dallas)

Wilson Elser is currently seeking a Senior Transportation Attorney with specific experience in trucking. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 10+ years of litigation experience to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in‑house counsel, the attorney in this role will have the exciting opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients that we represent, as well as with teams of our own talented, experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
  • Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners
  • Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations and depositions
  • Communicate with clients and provide reports
Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
  • Over 10 years of experience in defense litigation
  • Expertise in trucking or transportation strongly preferred
  • Proven experience representing clients in court for hearings
  • Exceptional analytical abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
  • Legal project management experience with a focus on delivering results
